Initiative

Downtown Residential Initiative

Launched in 2002 to increase mixed-use development and residential units downtown — converting obsolete office space into walkable living near arts, culture, and entertainment.

As of 2024 nearly 1,000 units have been completed and more than 300 are under construction. Combined with the pipeline, totals exceed 1,400 units.
